Counselor Letter of Recommendation Timeline:

  • If you need a counselor letter, there is a 3 week notice required for counselors to write a letter. There is a 1 week notice required for transcript requests. 
  • If you're ONLY applying to UCs, Cal States, and/or Community Colleges, you are encouraged but not required to meet with your counselor. However, you must still list these colleges on Naviance. 

How To Request a Transcript

  1. Need a final transcript, submit those requests NOW for the college/university you have committed to.
  2. Go here to access the Transcript Request Form.
  3. Fill in the form
    1. ​Note: at this time, you will be requesting FINAL transcripts. 
    2. Regular delivery is $5 per transcript with a 5 day turn around time. RUSH delivery is $10 per transcript with a 48 hour turn around time. 
  4. Once the form is complete, you must pay for the transcript requests. This can be done through the Webstore or in person at the Student Store.
  5. Next, email a copy of the receipt of payment and completed application to Ms. Randall at krandall@opusd.org.
  6. Keep an eye on your email, if Ms. Randall needs any additional information, she will email you.
